How a haul goes
- Aim, hold and release when the ring is small; a steady hand gives a bonus.
- The blade splits gems in two, lifts curses from skulls and sets off powder kegs, which chain.
- Each mate takes a piece by their taste: Greedy grabs the bigger one, Magpie wants the gems, Superstitious will not touch skulls.
- You keep the rest. Score = coins and land × gems, halved per skull.
- Hit the target, dock at port, buy knives and talismans, bribe the crew and sail again.
What's in a run
Six hauls, four kinds of loot, six crew tastes, eight talismans, one knife at a time. A haul takes a minute or two. Throws are physical: knives wobble, miss and bounce off the table, and one keg can clear half the map, your coins included. The look is PS1-style: low-res 3D, dithering and a CRT haze. Your best score is remembered between sessions.
Tips
- Cut for the crew's tastes, not just in half: predict which piece each mate will take.
- Keep kegs away from your own coins, or cut through them on purpose to wipe out a piece a mate would take.
