PlayNewtInverted Soul is a free short top-down action game released on itch.io on October 25, 2026. You wake with no memory, enter a mirror simulation and follow the cracks through a fallen city, a prehistoric hunt and a hollow future. Fight with the Divine Sword, time the Mirror Shield to send attacks back and use Hypno Reverse to turn enemies on each other.

How it plays

  • The Divine Sword is aimed with the mouse.
  • Raise the Mirror Shield just before impact to reflect an attack.
  • Hypno Reverse unlocks in World 1 and turns enemies against their own.
  • Each world lends you a special weapon and a spectral reflection that fights beside you.
  • Every death leaves a grave and takes a piece of your sanity.

Tips

  • Time the shield late: raising it early wastes the reflect window.
  • The Wise Elder in the simulation can let you skip training.
  • Click the game to focus it; fullscreen is recommended.
