PlayNewtOrbit Hop is a free one-button arcade game released on itch.io on October 25, 2026. Your ship circles a planet; tap to launch it on a tangent and hop to the next one while the void chases you from below. Every zone ends in a boss fight that turns into a retro shooter, and a weekly event with its own leaderboard starts every Monday at 10:00 CET.

How to play

  • Tap, click or press Space to launch from orbit.
  • Grab stars and chain quick hops into combos.
  • Keep climbing: the void rises from below.
  • On a boss arena, drag (or use the arrow keys) to dodge while your ship fires on its own. Smash the core for stars and a surprise box.

Modes and extras

  • Weekly event: one course for everyone with a new modifier each week (Star Shower, Billiards, Turbo, Black Nebula, Anti-gravity). Top 10 win event-only avatars.
  • Daily challenge with a ghost of your best run, plus Zen and 60-second Sprint modes.
  • Asteroids, black holes and wormholes; power-ups, ship skills and cosmetics.
  • Missions, achievements and global leaderboards with country flags.
  • 9 languages.
